MEDJUGORJE UPDATE: VIRGIN STATUE GLOWS...BIOLUMINESCENCE & GFP

MEDJUGORJE UPDATE: VIRGIN STATUE GLOWS..BIOLUMINESCENCE & GFP

..in the arena of Chemical Biology there is a phenomenon known as bioluminescence and GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein) fluorescence...the cause of this natural phenomenon of fluorescence is a protein found in the GFP chromophore (the part of the molecule responsible for its colour)...in a chromophore the colour arises when a certain wavelength of light is absorbed and other wavelengths are in turn reflected....this as was stated before is a purely natural phenomenon found in nature among a type of  jelly fish found in the cold waters of the Pacific  .... the jelly fish contain a bioluminescent protein  called Aequorin..this Aequorin emits blue light and the GFP converts the blue light to green light which is what the eye sees... the resulting colour seen as the name denotes is a bright green fluorescent hue when exposed to UV light...

...jellfish displaying GFP fluorescence...

...the GFP is used mainly in resolution and tracking of time dependent cell processes...this enables scientists to follow dynamic cycles inside cells and report expressions of certain genes...this process in a modified form has also been used in biosensor technology such as arsenic detectors...

.indeed common animals have been manipulated with this particular gene spliced to their DNA and so such animals as green fluorescent cats, mice and rabbits have already been genetically engineered in the lab....

...bacteria cultures have also been modified to contain this green marker and so an individual with access to such a culture may be able to doctor a statue such as the Virgin we see in this picture and upon exposure to UV light we will get the green fluorescence...however this is unlikely as the MEDJUGORJE statue probably has been artificed with glow in the dark ink which can be purchased at a craft store....

....Indeed what we see happening at MEDJUGORJE is a grave scandal since this statue has not been handed over to the proper authorities so that they may examine it before a public statement is printed...namely the Vatican should have been made privy to such a happening before any claims of supernaturality could be made...

...in the name of charity and for the love of the Church and the Mother of God to which her icon has apparently endured deliberate sacrilege and indignity one must unified with the Bishop of this place re print the entreaty of the Bishop of Mostar...

"As the local bishop, I maintain that regarding the events of Medjugorje, on the basis of the investigations and experience gained thus far throughout these last 25 years, the church has not confirmed a single apparition as authentically being the Madonna,"....”calling on those persons behind the messages to demonstrate ecclesiastical obedience and to cease with these public manifestations and messages in this parish." "In this fashion they shall show their necessary adherence to the church, by placing neither private apparitions nor private sayings before the official position of the church,"

-Bishop Of Mostar Ratko Peric

.let us all examine ourselves through a thorough meditation of conscience calling to mind our frailties with a contrite heart and a yearning to accomplish unity in the Church through small acts of love...amen

MEDJUGORJE UPDATE: SEER'S VIRGIN STATUE GLOWS...AS THE FACE OF MOSES???

MEDJUGORJE UPDATE: SEER'S VIRGIN STATUE GLOWS...AS THE FACE OF MOSES SHONE??

..indeed at MEDJUGORJE we have  a contentious spirituality at odds with the magisterium of the Church...

..in this theatre of the absurd where the sun spins..the clouds perambulate and metamorph into Holy visages..the air itself is purported to be electric and now the statues themselves glow as the face of Moses did after he encountered the place where God was in his contemplation...

...of course we have three spirits ..the spirit of the world..the spirit of the devil..& the spirit of God...indeed what the worldly spirit does and desires is contrary to God from the habit of sin in spite of itself through ignorance..however the devil apes, mocks and mimics God since the devil fell through the sin of desiring to be as God...and the Devil disunites  chiefly through malice and a turpitude for all things Holy....

 According to the Catholic Encyclopedia

 .....On the Devil’s sin....

St. Anselm's answer is that there need be no question of absolute equality; yet to will anything against the Divine will is to seek to have that independence which belongs to God alone, and in this respect to be equal to God. In the same sense St. Thomas (I:63:3) answers the question, whether the Devil desired to be "as God". If by this we mean equality with God, then the Devil could not desire it, since he knew this to be impossible, and he was not blinded by pasion or evil habit so as to choose that which is impossible, as may happen with men. And even if it were possible for a creature to become God, an angel could not desire this, since, by becoming equal with God he would cease to be an angel, and no creature can desire its own destruction or an essential change in its being.

These arguments are combated by Scotus (In II lib. Sent., dist. vi, Q. i.), who distinguishes between efficacious volition and the volition of complaisance, and maintains that by the latter act an angel could desire that which is impossible. In the same way he urges that, though a creature cannot directly will its own destruction, it can do this consequenter, i.e. it can will something from which this would follow.

..and so it follows that we see the devil tempts mankind through mimicry, mockery and aping of anything Holy since his disposition is objurately inclined to be as God in order to sufficiently register his angst and hatred on God and his beloved creatures....

..indeed as we see in Exodus 34:29-35  (Douay Rheims)

[29] And when Moses came down from the mount Sinai, he held the two tables of the testimony, and he knew not that his face was horned from the conversation of the Lord. [30] And Aaron and the children of Israel seeing the face of Moses horned, were afraid to come near.

[29] Horned: That is, shining, and sending forth rays of light like horns.

[31] And being called by him, they returned, both Aaron and the rulers of the congregation. And after that he spoke to them. [32] And all the children of Israel came to him: and he gave them in commandment all that he had heard of the Lord in mount Sinai. [33] And having done speaking, he put a veil upon his face. [34] But when he went in to the Lord, and spoke with him, he took it away until he came forth, and then he spoke to the children of Israel all things that had been commanded him. [35] And they saw that the face of Moses when he came out was horned, but he covered his face again, if at any time he spoke to them.

...so we see in MEDJUGORJE we have either through human artifice influenced by pride of place and cunning..or by preternatural intervention we have the devil aping God...indeed we cannot make an adequate edifying  parallel between the seers at MEDJUGORJE and MOSES...if we see that in the literal sense Moses through respect veiled his faced...in a moral sense he became humble after encountering in contemplation the place where God was..and in an anagogical mystical way one might say that the face of the soul of MOSES being his intellect which is the place where the eye of mind resides became illuminated with the truth of God and so shone as if enlightened...

..we see in MEDJUGORJE this is not occurring since the seers are not humble..they do not seek to submit themselves to the spiritual stewards of God (the local Ordinaries and Rome)...and so we see a mockery of all things good..a sign of infernal tampering....

..is one to believe that the seer at MEDJUGORJE is so Holy that by her presence the statue of the Virgin glows or through some other sort of misconjuctive device we are to believe without question betraying our faith to contrived circumstance....

..of course we are told by the proponents at this place that... a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit and an evil tree cannot bring forth good fruit..yet this is a classic MEDJUGORJE tactic of taking scripture and employing it out of context...improper exegesis...

..if we see in the summa theological of Thomas Aquinas....

The tree in this context is to be understood as the will of the soul...since indeed a good tree can and may bring forth evil fruit..just as a good family can out of 4 children have one evil one and three good wholesome children let us read what follows...

...on the cause of evil..

Article 1. Whether good can be the cause of evil?

Objection 1. It would seem that good cannot be the cause of evil. For it is said  (Matthew 7:18): "A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit."...........

Reply to Objection 1. As Augustine says (Contra Julian. i): "The Lord calls an evil will the evil tree, and a good will a good tree." Now, a good will does not produce a morally bad act, since it is from the good will itself that a moral act is judged to be good. Nevertheless the movement itself of an evil will is caused by the rational creature, which is good; and thus good is the cause of evil.

..and so one sees that indeed a good can and does bring about evil in an incidental way...through inordinate desiring....so of course we see proponents of MEDJUGORJE using this scripture and it has indeed undermined their cause since the will of the seers is contrary to two local Bishops in good standing as well as to a Vatican decree that the supernaturality of the phenomenon cannot be ascertained...yet the seers arrogantly claim otherwise....through imperious holiness..the evil will of the seers cannot bring forth good fruit..yet the presence of the sacraments at this place can and indeed does bring forth good fruit and so we have contention...and confusion...let us all examine ourselves with a spirit of recollection ........amen...........

MEDJUGORJE NEWS: THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH GOOD INTENTIONS....

MEDJUGORJE NEWS: The Road to Hell is Paved with Good intentions...

....now as good Christian souls we all desire for our good end...by the action of our will we intend good for our neighbour and good for ourselves..if we are diligently aspiring to profess to a life consigned to a path illuminated by charity....

...since intention is an action of the will and so it follows that the will itself manages and moves all the powers of the soul each towards its respective end then we may say that a good intention intends to move the soul towards the object of its desire as it knows it to be good in itself...however in order to achieve proper attainment of the good as it is in reality as the good emanates from God in his truth the initial intention must have some reference in knowledge...hence we have faith and reason....and so an intention which presupposes knowledge based in presumption is blind...to intend for the good out of ignorance indeed can lead us into all sorts of prevarications and insubordinate orders of inclemency....and finally ending in hell which is the utter impossibility of reason....

......As Peter Abelard says in his Ethics (Know Thyself)....

There are those who think intention is good or right, as often as one believes he is acting well and that that which he does pleases God; as those men did who persecuted the martyrs of which the Truth declares itself in the Gospel, “The time cometh that whosoever killeth you will thinketh that he doeth God a service.”  Of the ignorance of such the Apostle says with compassion,” I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge,” that is they show great fervor and desire in doing those things which they believe please God;  but because in this zeal or desire of their hearts they are deceived, their intention is erroneous, nor is the eye of their heart single, that it may see clearly, that is, guard itself from error. The Lord took pains, therefore, when he distinguished acts according to righteous or unrighteous intentions, to call the eye of the mind, that is the intention, single, and, so to speak, clear of dirt, that it might see clearly, or conversely dark, when he said, “ If thine eye be single , thy whole body shall be full of light.” That is if the intention be right, the whole mass of acts, which issue thence and which in the fashion of things corporeal may be seen, will be worthy of light, that is good.

...indeed at MEDJUGORJE we have proponents who are in a state of material heresy in effect killing spiritually the good name of the local Ordinary..and through the commission feel they are doing God a service .. out of their inveterate ignorance such proponents feel they are doing a good deed and a service to the church triumvirate as a whole...

....if we apply this analysis to the circumstances surrounding the phenomenon at MEDJUGORJE...one will see that many adherents are basing the intention of their volition upon presupposition rather than knowledge of Church decorum and so strife and duress ensues...people are committing the assent of their faith and reason to untested spirits...

the calamity of religious and lay support which undermines the local dicastery of this place will have ramifications for many years to come..let us all regard our own state of recollection and pray for God to lead us in the most economical way according to our vocation....amen

MEDJUGORJE UPDATE: HOLY PRUDENCE..it is better to be cautious 100 times than to be slain once....

MEDJUGORJE UPDATE: HOLY PRUDENCE

...of the four cardinal virtues one may see that the exercise of holy prudence in all circumstances is essential for anyone to proceed on the paths of holiness....and so from Augustine to Aristotle to Boethius and Lombard we are told that without prudence a person undermines every action they undertake and in the end what one thought to be a good is rendered a bad out of the utility of acting without right reason....

...prudence itself as defined by Aristotle in summary ...recta ratio agibilium..or..RIGHT REASON APPLIED TO PRACTICE...may be rendered towards an intellectual habit which aids us in discerning what is a virtuous course of action and what is not...in a sense Holy Prudence is a light to the reason..and as Jesus was described by John the evangelist as a light of which the darkness knew it not...we see when we apply the light of Jesus to a mortified will and a tamed intellect we proceed more efficiently in the paths of beneficence...

According to the Catholic Encyclopedia ...

Prudence, therefore, has a directive capacity with regard to the other virtues. It lights the way and measures the arena for their exercise. The insight it confers makes one distinguish successfully between their mere semblance and their reality. It must preside over the eliciting of all acts proper to any one of them at least if they be taken in their formal sense. Thus, without prudence bravery becomes foolhardiness; mercy sinks into weakness, and temperance into fanaticism

...indeed in MEDJUGORJE we have naive young converts to the paths of spirituality who without the aid of holy prudence have fallen into fanaticism and foolhardiness since they believe against the spiritual fathers that disobedience to a Vatican initiative and a local Ordinary’s directives is a logical and prudent venture of the reason...however if it were not for two thousand years of magisterial discernment and Vatican directive there would be no edifice on which to stand and so we see that ignoring such an appeal to reason is rash, negligent and thoughtless…and so it follows we see such traits emergent among the proponents of MEDJUGORJE….

Sins against prudence fall into two categories those from defect namely rashness, negligence and thoughtlessness… and sins of excessive appetite which transgress a reasonable prudential disposition..sins of excess include imprudence of flesh and emotion, astuteness, and undue solicitude about the temporal future which causes one to neglect provisions required for an eternal state of the soul…

...imprudence  a defect of foresight in regards to the practical order of creation…..

Rashness: implies someone who has deliberated and made a decision without due consideration of the ramifications of such a decision…and so we see in MEDJUGORJE people have decided that belief in an apparition justifies disunity in the mystical body of the Church

Negligence: does not allow a mind time for deliberation…as we are told when we buy a car for instance to take practicality into consideration and not do purchase based on emotion however in MEDJUGORJE people have not done this…and in the long run have made a bad purchase spiritually by selling their soul to presumption and division..instead of operating on unity and mercy and filial charity….

Objurate imperious Astuteness: if astuteness implies one who through devious trickery aims at misconstruing absolute directives and tries to find loopholes to procure their own prerogatives then we see this occurring in MEDJUGORJE…many people seek to deviously subvert Church policy in order to push their own agenda..an appeal to conscience as a guide or an appeal to justification that the Church says it is not wrong to visit such a place however  if one weighs all the details in the balance as one should before proper deliberation is made then one must say that to follow seers over a Church built on two thousand years of trust and hope and charity is indeed a precipitous and dangerous stake of one’s faith and mind….

Undue Solicitude for temporal condolence..we see this occurring in a great conflux at MEDJUGORJE..people feel good and so they follow this feel good feeling however the feel good appears justified by a call to pray and fast  confess and adore (scrupulosity) yet it ignores the Gospel message of generosity...if we do not give of ourselves..we will not receive..as Jesus said he who gives his life will save it and he who keeps it will lose it..

as scripture tells...

Amen, amen I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falling into the ground die, [25] Itself remaineth alone. But if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, keepeth it unto life eternal.

John 12:24

...Jesus is here speaking of holy obedience ..;poverty of spirit...and mortification of the will..it is a spirituality of generosity rather than scrupulosity...of which the Peligians are known..
...  indeed if one is disobedient to Church directives and magisterial decrees then such a person is outside the Church spiritually they have set themselves at odds they in effect have become tiny islands unto themselves…and are not in union with Christ and his shepherds…..indeed the Vatican has told us that no claims on the supernaturality of the visions may be made in a public manner which calls for further Church study if necessary..as it stands it can not be proven by the Church that these visions are manifest supernature and so indeed may be preternatural or an artifice of men…yet we see all over the world wide web that Mary is appearing..indeed this is against prudence it is rash ..it is an appeal to foolishness..and so it goes the Church is seen by the world as a foppish collection of clowns who seek to curry their carnival appetite through a theatre of the absurd as it is portrayed in MEDJUGORJE…..

…..let us see what the saints have to say about the virtue of PRUDENCE….

It is not good (prudent) to load ourselves with many spiritual exercises: it is better to
undertake a little, and go on with it; for if the devil can persuade us to omit an exercise once, he will easily bring us to omit it a second time, and, more easily still, a third, until all our pious practices will, at last, melt away.

 -St. Philip Neri

Prudence must precede every action which we undertake; for, if prudence be wanting, there is nothing, however good it may seem, which is not turned into evil.

 -St. Basil

There are two sorts of prudence, the one human, the other Christian. Human, carnal, or worldly prudence is that which has only worldly prosperity in view, and is indifferent about the means, provided it attains its object. Christian prudence takes Eternal Incarnate Wisdom for its guide in every thought, word, and work. It is regulated in every emergency, not by fatuous, glimmering light of its own, or by worldly judgment, but by the maxims of faith.

 -St. Vincent DePaul

-the topsy turvy world- peter breugel the elder

[14] A fool shall be filled with his own ways, and the good man shall be above him. [15] The innocent believeth every word: the discreet man considereth his steps. No good shall come to the deceitful son: but the wise servant shall prosper in his dealings, and his way shall be made straight.

[16] A wise man feareth and declineth from evil: the fool leapeth over and is confident. [17] The impatient man shall work folly: and the crafty man is hateful. [18] The childish shall possess folly, and the prudent, shall look for knowledge.

-Douay Rheims Bible , Proverbs 14:14-18

Let everyone who has the grace of intelligence fear that, because of it, he will be judged more heavily if he is negligent. Let him who has no intelligence or talent rejoice and do as much as he can with the little that he has; for he has been freed from many occasions of sin.

MEDJUGORJE UPDATE: HOLY FORTITUDE

MEDJUGORJE UPDATE: HOLY FORTITUDE

...according to theologians the human soul requires virtue in order that it may achieve and persist in any good work...as the apostle has told us we as Christians must work out our salvation with fear and trembling...in due course in order that we achieve this adjuration of the apostle we need to concentrate on the attainment of virtue...now of the four cardinal virtues of fortitude, justice, temperance, and prudence this verse will deal with the importance of fortitude in a summary manner...

...if one wishes to be good and to rest in God and have God be one’s final cause it follows that an appeal to reason is necessary..since God making man in his own image has supplied man with the tools of reason exercised through the intellect and freedom of will....now in order to bring one’s work in accordance with reason one must remove the disinclination of the will to follow  a precept that is in accord with reason...in MEDJUGORJE we see proponents are disinclined to follow a reasonable judgement of a Church authority...and so the work here requires the removal of this obstacle or difficulty...now this requires Holy fortitude of the mind....

.since in general Holy fortitude removes any adversity or obstacle which withdraws a soul from acting without reason...and so fortitude is mainly concerned with removing the fear associated with placing one’s will in the hands of an accomplished authority(local Ordinary) and in taming one’s will from the temptation to be daring and reckless hence acting in an illogical unreasonable manner...this is how fortitude works in conjuction of the virtues to keep us in the straight path...

...since fortitude denotes a firmness of mind and patience in adversity the opposite of this virtue is obstinancy which affixes the will and the intellect to unreasonableness...and this we see happening in MEDJUGORJE...it is indeed unreasonable to vouchsafe one’s prerogative over and above a regular Ordinary in good standing and to vault oneself over a Vatican decree...if  we see that holy fortitude removes the obstacles that cause the will to act without reason then we may say that in MEDJUGORJE among its proponents the virtue of Holy fortitude is lacking in this respect...however we see some in MEDJUGORJE who out of ignorance, passion or quest for a great reward unwittingly display  some semblance of fortitude in their outward pious exercises ..and this contrary to the virtue of Holy fortitude is a kind of spiritual concupiscience ...a lust after spiritual goods..or spiritual gluttony...self -serving insouciant niggardliness...we may safely say that interiorly this virtue of Holy fortitude is lacking at MEDJUGORJE in general....

..if one is engendered of fortitude they will have  patience and accept what the Bishops say & the courage to walk in the faith of the fathers of the Church otherwise being obstinate.. slave to wrath and rancor brought about by the  inflamed irascible passions divorced of reason....faith without reason is blind (religious fundamentalism)...

..let us see what the saints have to say about the virtue of Holy Fortitude.....

"What shall I say of fortitude, without which neither wisdom nor justice is of any worth? Fortitude is not of the body, but is a constancy of soul; wherewith we are conquerors in righteousness, patiently bear all adversities, and in prosperity are not puffed up. This fortitude he lacks who is overcome by pride, anger, greed, drunkenness, and the like. Neither have they fortitude who when in adversity make shift to escape at their souls' expense; wherefore the Lord saith, 'Fear not those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul.' In like manner those who are puffed up in prosperity and abandon themselves to excessive joviality cannot be called strong. For how can they be called strong who cannot hide and repress the heart's emotion? Fortitude is never conquered, or if conquered, is not fortitude."

 --St. Bruno.

"They say, "God told me", or "God replied to me". And yet most of the time they are talking to themselves."

"The soul that journey's to God, but doesn't shake off its cares and quiet its appetites, is like someone who drags a cart of dirt uphill."

-St. John of the Cross

"In the same way that a powerful medicine cures an illness, so illness itself is a medicine to cure passion. And there is much profit of soul in bearing illness quietly and giving thanks to God."

-St. Amma Syncletica

The nothing keeps silent, the nothing does not want to be, the nothing suffers all. The nothing does not impose itself, the nothing does not command with authority, and finally, the nothing in the creature is practical humility.

--Saint Angela of the Cross Guerrero

"There is no sin or wrong that gives a man a foretaste of hell in this life as anger and impatience."

--St.Catherine of Sienna

"It is certain that the love of God does not consist in this sweetness and tenderness which we for the most part desire; but rather in serving Him in justice, fortitude, and humility. His Majesty seeks and loves courageous souls."

-St. Teresa of Avila
