MEDJUGORJE AND THE WORK OF THE DEVIL

MEDJUGORJE | ENVY -The Seven Deadly Sins

Jealousy-(Envy)-the seven deadly sins

-Pieter Breughel- (Envy)  from Seven Vices and a Virtue

Jealousy is here taken to be synonymous with envy. It is defined to be a sorrow which one entertains at another's well-being because of a view that one's own excellence is in consequence lessened. Its distinctive malice comes from the opposition it implies to the supreme virtue of charity. The law of love constrains us to rejoice rather than to be distressed at the good fortune of our neighbour. Besides, such an attitude is a direct contradiction of the spirit of solidarity which ought to characterize the human race and, especially, the members of the Christian community.

The envious man tortures himself without cause, morbidly holding as he does, the success of another to constitute an evil for himself. The sin, in so far as it defies the great precept of charity, is in general grievous, although on account of the trifling matter involved, as well as because of the lack of deliberation, it is often reputed to be venial. Jealousy is most evil when one repines at another's spiritual good. It is then said to be a sin against the Holy Ghost. It is likewise called a capital sin because of the other vices it begets.

Among its progeny St. Thomas (II-II:36) enumerates hatred, detraction, rejoicing over the misfortunes of one's fellow, and whispering. Regret at another's success is not always jealousy. The motive has to be scrutinized. If, for instance, I feel sorrow at the news of another's promotion or rise to wealth, either because I know that he does not deserve his accession of good fortune, or because I have founded reason to fear he will use it to injure me or others, my attitude, provided that there is no excess in my sentiment, is entirely rational.

Then, too, it may happen that I do not, properly speaking, begrudge my neighbour his happier condition, but simply am grieved that I have not imitated him. Thus if the subject-matter be praiseworthy, I shall be not jealous but rather laudably emulous

-Catholic Encyclopedia

...now at the Phenomenon of MEDJUGORJE one sees rampant disobedience to lawful Church authority...we have proponents who willfully or due to ignorance spread messages as most undoubtedly emanating from the Mother of God....lending credibility without credence to these appearances as factually supernatural...

..direct disobedience to Canon 823 which allows a local Ordinary the right to censure any private revelation has shown that through the detractions and hatred of the Bishop by disdain of his decrees at this place we have the vice of envy running rampant...

..this is the poison of Satan which is infiltrating the body of the faithful...since the Hierarchy is ignored we see that many envy Church authority and wish to supplant it by usurping the apostolic succession at this place with modernism and liberal cafeteria Catholic dialogue which aims at disturbing the peace of Christ and replacing it with a counterfeit peace or a concord of subversive wills....all this is a direct result of the messages of Gospa which tell us to replace the intellect with the heart or emotions..yet this cannot be done...

....for blind desire will weary and inevitably injure the soul ... without the intellect to inform a soul it cannot love correctly and so fails in charity..and does not give God the honour he deserves and so such a soul does not become a praise of God's glory..in fact the messages of Gospa subvert God's glory...indeed God will not be mocked...acts of the will (affections) which are not guided by an enlightened intellect (based on precepts gleaned from the deposit of the faith)  undermine the Church of Christ with sycophantic and blind slavish superstition...such a  soul becomes a slave to desire and becomes a tool of Satan causing discord from within the Church...

..at Medjugorje many envy authority and so wish to have it for their own so they obdurately ignore the authority which Christ commissioned through his Good Bishop at this place....let us all examine ourselves with a view to unity so that our spiritual life on earth will be a presursor to an endless unified life together in the Church triumphant ....amen

MEDJUGORJE AND THE DEVIL'S WORK

MEDJUGORJE | THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS: GLUTTONY

Pieter Breughel the Elder- The Seven Vices , Gluttony

(From Lat. gluttire, to swallow, to gulp down), the excessive indulgence in food and drink. The moral deformity discernible in this vice lies in its defiance of the order postulated by reason, which prescribes necessity as the measure of indulgence in eating and drinking. This deordination, according to the teaching of the ANGELIC DOCTOR, may happen in five ways which are set forth in the scholastic verse: "Prae-propere, laute, nimis, ardenter, studiose" or, according to the apt rendering of Father Joseph Rickably: too soon, too expensively, too much, too eagerly, too daintily. Clearly one who uses food or drink in such a way as to injure his health or impair the mental equipment needed for the discharge of his duties, is guilty of the sinof gluttony. It is incontrovertible that to eat or drink for the mere pleasure of the experience, and for that exclusively, is likewise to commit the sinof gluttony.

Such a temper of soulis equivalently the direct and positive shutting out of that reference to
our last end which must be found, at least implicitly, in all our actions. At the same time it must be noted that there is no obligationto formerly and explicitly have before one's mind a motive which will immediately relate our actions to God. It is enough that such an intention should be implied in the apprehension of the thing as lawful with a consequent virtual submission to Almighty God. Gluttony is in general a venial sinin so far forth as it is an undue indulgence in a thing which is in itself neither good nor bad.

Of course it is obvious that a different estimate would have to be given of one so wedded to the pleasures of the table as to absolutely and without qualification live merely to eat and drink, so minded as to be of the number of those, described by the Apostle St. Paul, "whose god is their belly" (Philippians 3:19). Such a one would be guilty of mortal sin. Likewise a person who, by excesses in eating and drinking, would have greatly impaired his health, or unfitted himself for dutiesfor the performance of which he has a grave obligation, would be justly chargeable with mortal sin.

St. John of the Cross, in his work "The Dark Night of the Soul" (I, vi), dissects what he calls spiritual gluttony. He explains that it is the disposition of those who, in prayerand other acts of religion, are always in search of sensible sweetness; they are those who "will feel and taste God, as if he were palpable and accessible to them not only in Communion but in all their other acts of devotion." This he declares is a very great imperfection and productive of great evils.

-CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA

.. among the protagonists of the phenomenon at MEDJUGORJE we see those who assiduously seek out good feelings ravishing themselves with the condolences afforded by spiritual concupiscence…

…many at MEDJUGORJE have abandoned the dictates of reason and the law of the saints and prophets to engage in unsanctioned Church activities solely for the love of the pleasure afforded them without…

..such people may indeed be fasting epicureally however they are not fasting as regards the reason or inhibiting their unreasonable desire…as we know to sin is to perpetrate a deed desire or utter a word contrary to the eternal law…

..now at MEDJUGORJE we have many falling away from the Cross owing to their lavish refulgent urges…

..yet falsely owing to pride and spiritual slovenliness out of rash deliberation they believe themselves to be very devout and very mindful of Church precept…

..guilty of spiritual gluttony they have culled themselves from the way of abnegation and have excommunicated themselves from the communion of the saints through disobedience and outward shows of sanctimony..

..so they fall into the sins of envy, lust, pride sloth and gluttony….

MEDJUGORJE PILGRIMAGE| MANY ARE CALLED YET FEW ARE CHOSEN???

MEDJUGORJE PILGRIMAGE ..MANY ARE CALLED YET FEW ARE CHOSEN???

..its true some have boasted they have traveled to MEDJUGORJE numerous times in an effort to hale the spiritual health...

..yet the price of air fare can be prohibitive to some making such a foray from far off lands only a dream...

...I am sure Jesus never meant the cost of grace to be so monetarily rare..since in the New Testament it tells us...

22:17 And the spirit and the bride say: Come. And he that heareth, let him say: Come. And he that thirsteth, let him come: and he that will, let him take the water of life, freely
-Revelation 22:17 (Doauy Rheims)

..and so contradictory to the Gospel of Christ we have those who are missing out on great graces we are told by Medjugorje Promoters...... and so God is not just since we see there are
those who won’t be going on Pilgrimage to MEDJUGORJE because  of pecuniary reasons...

..and so they have missed out on the gifts of God...

......& so this begs the question is God unfair since we see many cannot afford to travel to Medjugorje... so those people who are economically able are part of the predestined few who are to reap the benfits of MEDJUGORJE?????...we can see that such favouritism  is repugnant to the equanimous equitable heart of God whose grace is rendered freely to all not just those who can afford it....Medjugorje in fact is targeted at a wealthy demographic who as a result of spiritual pride have shunned the true way of the Gospel turning their backs on their neighbour who through the precepts of Charity they should be aiming at winning so that we all should dwell in God univocally  by finding Christ in the poor and ministering in a theologically apposite manner...through the treatise of the Gospel

..here are some of the OTHERS who will not be flying to MEDJUGORJE because they are not chosen by our LADY or called as some fanatical supporters fatuously testify....

[9] For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that being rich he became poor, for your sakes; that through his poverty you might be rich.
-2 Corinthians 8:9  (Douay Rheims)

..let us find Christ in the poor by supporting our local Church Organizations such as Saint Vincent DePaul or the Knights of Columbus instead of wasting money going on Pilgrimage to unapproved apparition sites such as MEDJUGORJE...amen

MARIA DIVINE MERCY CONDEMNED

MARIA DIVINE MERCY CONDEMNED

Like Medjugorje... Maria Divine Mercy has been condemned by the local Ordinary/Authority

...APOSTATES INOBEDIENTIAE SCHISMATICS & MATERIAL HERETICS....
....EXCOMMUNICATED A JURE LATAE SENTENTIAE......

To wit...regarding Maria Divine Mercy...

..APOSTATE IRREGULARITATIS SCHISMATIC & FORMAL HERETIC....
...EXCOMMUNICATED A JURE LATAE SENTENTIAE....

..and so the messages of Mary Divine Mercy just like those from Medjugorje may not be disseminated or promoted to the faithful ....

..as one of the fruits of the rejection of authority at the Medjugorje miasma the faithful now have the pernicious false visionary Maria Divine Mercy to pollute the oxygen of faith and confuse the sensus laicorum....
...from the rejection of the precepts of Mother Church we have the schismatics of Medjugorje and now we have the schismatics from Maria Divine mercy...
...excommunicated from the Church a jure latae sententiae by order of their disdain for established traditions they have cut themselves off from the communion of saints and made themselves through delinquent deliberation and irreducible ignorance enemies of the Church militant..by order of their petulant refusal to abide by the voice of God...

Vatican 2 Lumen Gentium

"This sacred Council teaches that the Bishops, from divine
institution, have taken the place of the Apostles, as the pastors of the
Church: he who hears them, hears Christ; he who spurns them, spurns Christ,
and Him who sent Christ".

“20. That divine mission, entrusted by Christ to the apostles, will last until the end of the world,(147) since the Gospel they are to teach is for all time the source of all life for the Church. And for this reason the apostles, appointed as rulers in this society, took care to appoint successors.
For they not only had helpers in their ministry,(4*) but also, in order that the mission assigned to them might continue after their death, they passed on to their immediate cooperators, as it were, in the form of a testament, the duty of confirming and finishing the work begun by themselves,(5*) recommending to them that they attend to the whole flock in which the Holy Spirit placed them to shepherd the Church of God.(148) They therefore appointed such men, and gave them the order that, when they should have died, other approved men would take up their ministry.(6*) Among those various ministries which, according to tradition, were exercised in the Church from the earliest times, the chief place belongs to the office of those who, appointed to the episcopate, by a succession running from the beginning,(7*) are passers-on of the apostolic seed.(8*) Thus, as St. Irenaeus testifies, through those who were appointed bishops by the apostles, and through their successors down in our own time, the apostolic tradition is manifested (9*) and preserved.(10*)
Bishops, therefore, with their helpers, the priests and deacons, have taken up the service of the community, (11*) presiding in place of God over the flock,(12*) whose shepherds they are, as teachers for doctrine, priests for sacred worship, and ministers for governing.(13*) And just as the office granted individually to Peter, the first among the apostles, is permanent and is to be transmitted to his successors, so also the apostles' office of nurturing the Church is permanent, and is to be exercised without interruption by the sacred order of bishops. (14*) Therefore, the Sacred Council teaches that bishops by divine institution have succeeded to the place of the apostles, (15*) as shepherds of the Church, and he who hears them, hears Christ, and he who rejects them, rejects Christ and Him who sent Christ.(149)(16*).....Although the individual bishops do not enjoy the prerogative of infallibility, they nevertheless proclaim Christ's doctrine infallibly whenever, even though dispersed through the world, but still maintaining the bond of communion among themselves and with the successor of Peter, and authentically teaching matters of faith and morals, they are in agreement on one position as definitively to be held.(40*) This is even more clearly verified when, gathered together in an ecumenical council, they are teachers and judges of faith and morals for the universal Church, whose definitions must be adhered to with the submission of faith.(41*)

..and so Bishops possess the charism of infallibility when they pronounce doctrine and in the case of Medjugorje the Bishop has acted within the bounds and norms of his office by Church tradition as a governor of this place and so he is required to be obeyed by precept out of charity...and until now messages have not been submitted for his approval before being disseminated to the faithful...and so disobedience reigns and is the spirit and fruit of this place....

Luke 10:16

He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth me; and he that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me.
..now this being said the proponents of Medjugorje and Maria Divine will never let fear of the Lord (temperance) and common sense (prudence) cloud their judgement on discernment of truth (facetious solipsism)….

..and so we will have this obdurate refusal of the truth of God and contention within the Church effectively working against the Kingdom of God on earth…amen

MEDJUGORJE PILGRIMAGE AND PRIVATE REVELATIONS....

MEDJUGORJE PUNDITS HAVE DECEIVED THE FAITHFUL

..now one sees if they look through the lense of perspicacious scrutiny blatant extirpation of TRUTH has occured....

..the faithful have been deceived and led into scandal against the Bishop of MEDJUGORJE as well as the Vatican....

According to many proponent sites which promote the MEDJUGORJE pilgrimage phenomenon the dissemination of private revelations does not require any approval from the Church since due to an erroneous interpretation of a 1966 decree it is claimed to wit...

..and so they falsely lead people into a false sense of security...telling the faithful that no permission is necessary for the seers of medjugorje to spread their messages..however this is a lie...

According to a decree in 1966 by the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine and the Faith, seers do not need ecclesiastical approval for private revelations:

A. Ecclesiastical permission is not required for publication of revelations, visions, miracles or for the
frequenting of non-recognized places of apparitions.

A decree of the "Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine and the Faith" was published in the "Official Acts of
the Holy See" (A.A.S.) 58/16, dated December 29.1966.

Articles 1399 and 2318 of Canon Law are abrogated by this decree.

This decree of abrogation was approved October 14, 1966 by His Holiness the Sovereign Pontiff Paul VI. who ordered at the same time its publication.

This approval by the Holy Father took place during an audience accorded to His Eminence Cardinal Ottaviani,
Pro-Prefect for the "Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine and the Faith."

The decree was made in Rome. November 15, 1966. It bears the signatures of:

A. Cardinal Ottaviani. Pro-Prefect

P. Parente. Secretary

The decree took effect three months after its publication, hence on March 29.1967.

Canon 1399

The Canon 1399 forbade by right the publication of certain books such as those that deal with revelations, visions, prophecies and miracles.

This Canon has been repealed. This means that as far as these publications are concerned, the prohibition is lifted as to their being bound by ecclesiastical law. This means that henceforth: Catholics are permitted without need of Imprimatur, or of NIhil Obstat. or any other permission. to publish accounts of revelations, visions, prophecies and miracles. Of course these publications must not put in danger the Faith or the Morals: this is the general rule which every Catholic must follow in all his actions, even journalists. especially Journalists.

There is hence no longer any prohibition concerning the narrative of seers. be they recognized or not by Ecclesiastical Authority.

All the more reason is it permitted for Catholics to frequent places of Apparitions, even those not recognized by the Ordinaries of the diocese or by the Holy Father Granted that the Catholic visitors who frequent these places must respect the Faith and the Morals. However, they are not subject to any ecclesiastical discipline, not even for their public prayers.

Permission is required only for the celebration of Holy Mass or any other religious service.

Canon 2318

Canon 2318 carried penalties against those who violated the taws of censure and prohibition.

This Canon is abrogated since 1966. None can incur ecclesiastical censure for frequenting places of Apparitions even those not recognized by the Ordinaries of dioceses or by the Holy Father.

Also. "those who would have incurred the censures treated in Canon 2318 will be like absolved by the very fact of the abrogation of this Canon." (Cardinal Ottaviani)

So the visionaries do not need the permission of the Bishop of Mostar to make public their private revelations

…HOWEVER THIS IS MANIFESTLY FALSE!!!!

To claim as many proponents of the medjugorje phenomenon do that the BISHOP has no authority is formally schismatic and if voluntarily  believed for that matter may cause one eventually to become excommunicated from the Church a jure latae sententiae..which means by transgressing the law of the Church by letter through a misdeed in an ipso facto manner which states…

CCC-2089Incredulity is the neglect of revealed truth or the willful refusal to assent to it. "Heresy is the obstinate post-baptismal denial of some truth which must be believed with divine and catholic faith, or it is likewise an obstinate doubt concerning the same; apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith; schism is the refusal of submission to the Roman Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him."

…members of the Church in communion with the Roman Pontiff would include the Bishop of MEDJUGORJE…

..when one excommunicates oneself in such a way they remove the efficacy of grace as it flows from the sacramental life..in effect it cuts one off from the living water of the Church..true such an excommunication can be removed through confession however if this is not recognized the state of one’s soul in this frame of being is effectively stultified..stunted so to speak..and places one in grave danger of being cut off from eternal salvation by the sin of presumption which is a sin against the HOLY GHOST…

as Aquinas say in his Summa Theologica
second Part of the Second Part Question 5

Article 3 . whether a man who disbelieves one article of faith, can have lifeless faith in other articles

I answer that, Neither living nor lifeless faith remains in a heretic who disbelieves one article of faith. The reason of this is that the species of every habit depends on the formal aspect of the object, without which the species of the habit cannot remain. Now the formal object of faith is the First Truth, as manifested in Holy Writ and the teaching of the Church, which proceeds from the First Truth. Consequently whoever does not adhere, as to an infallible and Divine rule, to the teaching of the Church, which proceeds from the First Truth manifested in Holy Writ, has not the habit of faith, but holds that which is of faith otherwise than by faith. Even so, it is evident that a man whose mind holds a conclusion without knowing how it is proved, has not scientific knowledge, but merely an opinion about it. Now it is manifest that he who adheres to the teaching of the Church, as to an infallible rule, assents to whatever the Church teaches; otherwise, if, of the things taught by the Church, he holds what he chooses to hold, and rejects what he chooses to reject, he no longer adheres to the teaching of the Church as to an infallible rule, but to his own will. Hence it is evident that a heretic who obstinately disbelieves one article of faith, is not prepared to follow the teaching of the Church in all things; but if he is not obstinate, he is no longer in heresy but only in error. Therefore it is clear that such a heretic with regard to one article has no faith in the other articles, but only a kind of opinion in accordance with his own will.

...and so it follows that those who do not follow the Bishop at Medjugorje or respect his office but who hold to their own rule do not exercise faith but only an opinion in accordance with one's own fancy...

The correct rendering of the Church regarding the dissemination of private revelation falls under Canon 823 and 824 which call for the review of any private revelation to fall under the jurisdiction of the local Bishop the Bishop’s Conference or the Vatican itself…

Now there never has been any permission given at Medjugorje for anyone to spread these messages..this is obdurate refusal to abide by the Canons of the Church and so results in schism and heresy…

The correct rendering of the stance of the Church regarding private revelation is as follows…

Publication of PRIVATE revelation

On October 23, 1995 the CDF clarified about private revelations:

With regard to the spreading of texts of presumed personal revelations, the Congregation makes it clear that:

1. The interpretation by some people of a decision approved by Paul VI on October 14, 1966, and promulgated on November 15 of the same year, by virtue of which writings and messages coming from presumed revelations might be freely spread within the Church IS ABSOLUTELY NOT VALID. This decision actually referred to the 'Abolition of the Index of Banned Books,' and said that - once relative censures were lifted - the moral obligation in any case not to spread or read those writings which endangered faith and morals still remained.

2. A reminder, therefore, that for the diffusion of texts of presumed private revelations, the norm of the Code in force, Canon 823, para 1, which gives pastors the right 'to demand that the writings of the faithful which touch faith or morals be submitted to their own judgment before publication', remains valid.

3. Presumed supernatural revelations and writings which regard them are in the first instance subject to the judgment of the diocesan bishop and, in particular cases, to that of the episcopal conference and the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith.

It is a misconception that the faithful do not need permission to publish alleged private revelations since the abolition of Canon 1399 and 2318 of the former Canonical Code by Pope Paul the VI in AAS 58 (1966) on October 14, 1966. The truth is that Pope Paul VI only abolished the Index Librorum Prohibitorum, and that Canon 823 and 824 of the current 1983 Code of Canon Law define the right and duty of the bishop to censor all material concerning faith or morals.

The canonization of a mystic or an imprimatur given to a book of revelations do not mean a private revelation is authentic, because the church does not pronounce on alleged revelations when it pronounces on the holiness of an individual and because the Imprimatur only guarantees that a book is free from all doctrinal and moral errors

..when one excommunicates oneself in such a way they remove the efficacy of grace as it flows from the sacramental life..in effect it cuts one off from the living water of the Church..true such an a jure excommunication can be removed through confession however if this is not recognized the state of one’s soul in this frame of being is effectively stultified..stunted so to speak..and places one in grave danger of being cut off from eternal salvation by the sin of presumption which is a sin against the HOLY GHOST…
