..again we see public scandal purveyed by the MEDJUGORJE juggernaut...
..according to the MEDJUGORJE TABLOID...MEDJUGORJE TODAY..
..the seer IVAN was forbidden from appearing in public in SAINT LOUIS earlier this month...however this did not stop the apparition addicts who were jonesin' for a fix...from getting their false piety caps out and proceeding to make a mockery of the chief organs of the CATHOLIC CHURCH...
..according to the letter sent to the BISHOP'S of the U.S.A. ...
"It follows therefore, that clerics and the faithful are not permitted to participate in meetings, conferences or public celebrations during which the credibility of such "apparitions" would be taken for granted"
...now if one uses reason guided by holy prudence one will understand that such a gathering transgresses an edict of the Catholic Church..and as such it is a grave matter and accordingly puts one in a state of mortal sin if done with no deliberation with a fostered studied ignorance or proximate to it if done with little reasonable deliberation in a state of supine ignorance...even so in the case of the Medjugorianists one can see a sort of excessively scrupulous deliberation since such people seem to not be able to come to any sort of reasonable conclusion even after sufficient evidence is put forth by the Church..it must also be understood that act consequentialism is not tolerated by the Church..for it is never justified that one should do evil so that a good may come out of it...
..let us pray for unity in the Church..so that we should seek to know God in his Word Jesus Christ...and not from misguided private revelations..since no other revelation is necessary for salvation save the one which God has spoken once and succintly through his Son...let us follow his magisterium...amen
